About Us

We are based in the North Lakes town of Keswick. Iains Taxis are a well established Keswick taxi business offering dog friendly cars for all size dogs. As well as servicing the surrounding area we operate taxi rail transfers to Penrith, Windermere, Carlisle and Oxenholme stations with airport transfers aswell to Newcastle, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester and Liverpool (John Lennon). We provide availability Monday to Sunday from 7am to 11.30pm and out of hours for advanced bookings. Arrangements can be made for baggage transfers if customers are walking coast to coast routes. Walking companies or private tours are welcome should you wish to take in the scenery or visit the many locations in the Lake District such as Buttermere, Grasmere, Glenridding, Ambleside, Windermere, Langdale Valley, Wasdale, Eskdale and Borrowdale Valley and many more destinations. We accept all major credit and debit cards in our vehicles along with facilities to pay over the phone also . Our vehicles are clean and modern, and we have 11 to 40+ years taxi driving experience. We are fully licensed by Allerdale Borough Council .
