Preston Jenkinson Limited had been committed to supplying quality carpets and rugs since it's establishment in 1835 at Batley Carr. Our last premises, at Hick Lane Junction, Bradford Road, Batley, were purpose built in 1914. In 2007 the then managing Director, Roger Jenkinson, decided it was time to call it a day and allow the family firm, with great sadness, to close. The building in need of great expenditure was sold and is now home to Bar Deco. Many of the old features can still be found in the building, which has seen big changes since the change of ownership. The Jenkinson Family would like to thank all the past and loyal staff from over the years and especially all our old and loyal past customers. "unfortunately times do move on!"
