Fibre optic Training
OP-456-61 is a comprehensive Splicing, Testing and Terminating course in which you will learn all the skills needed to install a fibre optic network. The course lasts 3 to 4 days and consists of a half day introduction to the technology including technology demonstrations and experiments. The rest of the course is practical training. By the end of the course you will be proficient in the following: OTDR for commissioning fibre networks OTDR for troubleshooting fibre networks Power meter and optical source for Insertion loss measurement Return Loss testing Visible light source for fault finding Bare fibre testing Connector Inspection & Cleaning Fibre preparation Fusion Splicing Mechanical Splicing Connector Termination.
