Thomas A. Shaw is a traditionally run family butchers, located in Lauder Dobbies Garden Centre, Melville, Dalkeith. We purchase all of our stock locally through tried and trusted farms. The stock is then processed through our local abattoir in Galashiels which cuts down significantly on food miles and ensures the highest standards of animal welfare. Because we have extensive chilling facilities our carcases are allowed to mature to give a premium product which is butchered with care.A great deal of time and thought is spent on developing new added value products to inspire or customers to produce innovative meals. We also offer a slaughtering, butchering and packaging facility.
