Occupational Therapy for Developmental and Learning Disorders
I treat children and adults who have a spectrum of difficulties ranging from under-acheivement to autism, Aspergers, ADHD, DCD (dyspraxia) and dyslexia. I am a State Registered Occupational Therapist further trained in INPP, DIR/Floortime, Play Therapy, Sensory Integration Therapy and 'The Listening Program'.I have found that it is vital to assess the person's full range of difficulties in order to pinpoint which area to prioritise for treatment. I work closely with other Health and Education professions.Although based in Fife, I am happy to accept referrals nationally/ internationally. I can provide intensive blocks of DIR/Floortime coaching if families are travelling from a distance.I have many years experience of running workshops for fellow professional and carers' groups.
