Aerosol Production gets a boost.
We were commissioned to design and install a control system for a customer based in Birkenhead. The company supplies aerosols for industrial and domestic applications. The control system was to control a new filling line. Due to the nature of the product this had to comply with ATEX directives. The system was housed in four large control cabinets and based around a Mitsubishi Q Series PLC. Connected to this was two 15" Beijer IX Panel HMI's. CC-Link was used to control the twenty Inverter drives required for the production process. There was over 1,000 inputs / outputs. A remote access module was included to allow access to the system from our Coventry Office.
