Fire Warden/Marshal Training
We provide Fire Warden/Marshal Training to businesses. We are based in the central belt of Scotland smack bang in the middle between Edinburgh and Glasgow. We host open courses at our Base of Operation in Bathgate but we travel all over to provide this training.The course consists of - The action to take on discovering a fireHow to raise the alarmWhat to do in the event of a fireResponsibilitiesLocation of fire extinguishers and routes of escapeAdvice on fire precautions and tips on housekeeping to minimise the risk of fire breaking outUnderstanding the different types of fire extinguishers, how they work, their limitations & capabilitiesPractical HANDS ON work putting out fires using various extinguishersAn explanation of the role of a Fire Warden/Marshall and the associated duties as the front line of defence against a fire. Also covered are working with the manager responsible for fire safety to make sure the workplace and the employees are safe from fires. Along with the above is a brief look at the Fire Safety legislation
