Andrew very much enjoys teaching students of all ages and abilities, from beginners to the more advanced pupils, all styles of music. Students are encouraged to play different styles of music giving students a broad range of experiences. Students are encouraged to enter for examinations where appropriate. There are a number of examination boards available such as; Trinity Guildhall, London College of Music, Victoria College of Music and the Associated Board. Most exam boards offer a wide variety of choices of examinations. For the young beginner there are a series of pre grade 1 examinations. Students may if they wish take an examination however there is no pressure if passing exams is not your aim. The most important thing is to enjoy playing your instrument.
