Loft Boarding
Instaloft provide a professional Loft boarding Service throughout Telford, Shropshire and the whole of the West Midlands. We are a fully approved Loftzone Installer installing Raised Loft Floor storage solutions. Many properties have been insulated to the recommended levels of 270mm under the government backed ECO and Green Deal Schemes however this has left people with the difficulty of not being able to use the loft space for storage. Out Raised Floor Loft boarding service is designed to lay above the existing joists in your loft over the insulation, pipework and wiring. This protects the joists beneath and allows the insulation to function as intended. Be wary of any company that offer to lay boarding directly onto your joists. They will often talk about cutting into the joists to make space for pipework and wiring which can seriously weaken the integrity of the framework. Squashing the insulation down underneath boarding can lead to problems with condensation and damp causing damage to joists and the ceiling below. It also stops this insulation from performing its function resulting in a loss of up to £250 per year in additional energy costs If you have insulation in place already then give us a call. We can fit our raised floor loft boarding into any age or style of property and give you back your loft storage space.
