When the Gloucestershire Chest Fund was formed in 1991 the initial object was to raise £500,000 to be spent helping our local hospitals to fight chest diseases We have, so far, spent £28,000 proving the viability and effectiveness of a pulmonary rehabilitation service and we are continuing to fight to get the NHS to adopt this service as the only effective way of helping chronic sufferers We are currently raising money to provide a portable ultrasound scanner for Gloucestershire Royal Hospital
