There are many reasons why people may seek out counselling and psychotherapy, and clients tend to bring a variety of different issues into sessions. Some people come to find out more about themselves, while others may be going through a crisis. Often clients find that it can merely be helpful to have somebody to talk to about what is happening in their lives.   In my therapeutic work, I have had experience of helping clients understand and come to terms with the following issues -   Depression Bereavement and loss Anxieties and panic attacks Compulsive thoughts, actions and addictions  Sexual or physical abuse Childhood issues Difficulties with parenthood Phobias Anger/aggression issues Working with men & masculinity Working with women & femininity Issues around sexuality Self esteem issues Stress Relationship issues Cultural issues Work related Issues Health issues Issues around spirituality   Please feel free to have a look at my website www.northamptoncounselling.co.uk and to contact me if you have any further questions or wish to book an assessment.
