Pest Control
Pest Control:Alchemy can provide the full range of Pest Control services either on a call-out basis or as part of a full Service Contract Programme, including: Rats and Mice:Rodents are a major pest everywhere because of the diseases they transmit and the damage they cause. A site survey is carried out and a contract service recommended based on a prescribed number of visits per year, designed to eliminate, not just control these pests, then ensure they cannot re-enter the premises. Other Pests: Stored Product pests include a variety of species of beetles, weevils and moths that infest whole grains and processed foods such as flour, cereal etc. Anyone who has ever had to deal with store product pests knows they are persistent and can cause damage to ingredients and finished goods inventory. Following a site survey a full recommendation is provided to eliminate these destructive pests. Wasps and BeesWasps and bees are a highly evolved order of insects with a caste system, where workers (or sterile females) build the nests, raise the young and forage for food under the direction of the queen. A site survey will determine the extent of the problem and recommend removal and nest clearing, followed by preventative treatment. Birds: Birds, especially in concentrated town centre populations, can create serious problems for property owners, food and catering businesses and local councils. They cause damage to buildings by fouling, block gutters and water ingress, cause health hazards from the diseases pest birds carry etc. We can provide guaranteed solutions, primarily using low visibility deterrent systems carefully chosen to be effective yet, wherever possible, leaving bird life unharmed.
