ChAPS was set up in June 2010 to supports parents/carers of dependants with Aspergers or ASD, whether diagnosed or not. You can obtain lots of information on our website www.asparents.org.uk which is full of information, advice and support covering all aspects of living and coping with a child, whatever their age on the spectrum, from diagnosis to databases of services, including events locally through other organisations. We offer support groups that meet each month all over Cheshire. This is an opportunity for people to share thoughts, worries they may have and celebrate success. These have proved to be very supportive for those who attend. We also hold information evenings on a regular basis, counselling services and deliver Training Workshops.
