We pride ourselves on being a friendly, local trust providing a wide range of services within the borough of Trafford, west of Manchester We are a mixed adult and paediatric A&E and as well as seeing all A&E patients we also receive admissions directly to speciality teams Our acute pain team provides clinical support and advice in the management of acute pain for patients during their stay in hospital We have an accident and emergency department at Trafford General Hospital and a minor injuries unit at Altrincham General Hospital The Trust was established in 1994 and has just under 2,000 staff, supported by over 200 volunteers, in our hospitals and within the community
