Rugby Club in Tongwynlais
The club and ground are located in Tongwynlais, a village just a few miles to the north of Cardiff. The village nestles alongside the Taff Trail and is home to the historic Castell Coch and the beautiful Forrest Fawr.The club has a long and illustrious history going back nearly 120 documented years (only a dozen years fewer than the giants of Welsh rugby, Cardiff RFC) and the clubhouse is based in the very centre of the village, at the heart of the community.The social club's intention is to provide a facility for the players and the village community to enjoy a drink and have a comfortable meeting place available at all times. The social club intends to make some profit (though not at normal commercial levels) in order to fund improvements at the clubhouse and to support the players themselves. We now have a club enabling the young (and sometimes not so young) to play and keep alive the tradition of our national sport at a village level - successfully.
