Sunil Abeyewickreme is an experienced and highly respected lawyer in the field of dentistry. He was called to the Bar by Grays Inn in 2004 and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association. Prior to joining Halliwells LLP, Sunil headed the Employment Department at Cohen Cramer. He has considerable experience in the areas of regulatory law, commercial dispute resolution and employment law.Prior to reading law Sunil graduated in the medical sciences. He has continued his interest in medicine and dentistry throughout his legal practice. In November 2004, Sunil was appointed as a Legal Adviser to the British Dental Association, which he held for four years.Sunil is often sought to advise on public law matters involving the NHS dental contract. He has given a number of presentations across the country on various legal subjects relevant to healthcare including ethics, employment law and the procurement of NHS dentistry to PCTs.
