Business profile
East West Detox offers a holistic alternative choice of treatment and rehabilitation for substance misusers including meditation and mindfulness for relapse prevention. The charity provide a range of preventative services to people who may have underlying relapsing conditions such as stress, anxiety, anger, low self esteem, and depression which often cause health problems and can lead to substance dependency. We also provide practical meditation training workshops in schools for children and teachers. Meditation gives even very young children, power over their thinking and their emotions using enhanced self-understanding and self-acceptance. It is a gentle and effective means of overcoming a wide variety of psychological and behavioural problems, such as anxiety, hyperactivity and aggression.A recent short video 'Sarah's Story' can now be viewed on-line by clicking the video page link on the front page of the charity website: www.east-westdetox.org.uk
