Brimblecombe's cider is made in the old fashion way where we press milled apples through straw and allow the juice to ferment on wild yeast for approx 6 months when it is raked off ond put into oak casks to mature Brimblecombe's cider is located at Farrants Farm where we have a Farm Shop based on the east side of Dartmoor in the Teign Valley on the B3212 between Dunsford and Longdown We believe that about 500 years age when a new house was built next door a new cider press was installed and cider made to keep up with the demand from thirsty farm workers and local villages Appels from our orchards and local orchards are milled in the pound room and the milled apple is layered between straw underneath the press to make a mock You can purchase cider straight from the barrel in our containers, 1ltr, 2.5 ltr 5ltr or 10 ltr bag in box
