Thomson Ecology is the UK's leading ecology specialist. We cover all protected species (bats, great crested newts, badgers, birds, reptiles, water voles, dormice, etc) and all habitats- terrestrial, freshwater and marine. Thomson Ecology ecologists are professionally qualified with IEEM membership and trained to deliver projects on brief, on budget, on time, every time. Our ecologists carry out protected species surveys, design ecological mitigation schemes, help you to obtain European Protected Species Licences (EPSL), carry out ecological watching briefs, write the ecology chapter of Environmental Impact Assessments and can represent you as expert witnesses at Public Inquiry. As a leading ecology consultancy, Thomson Ecology work nationwide on both large and small projects. Our sister company, Thomson Habitats, carry out any ecological contracting work, such as wildlife fencing installation and vegetation clearance.
