Set in a tranquil oasis scattered with rhododendrons and in the backdrop of the lovely High Stand Forest, Englethwaite Hall Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite is located in the Eden Valley of Carlisle. There has been an increase in the number of red squirrels in the area and the site offers a viewing hide. The area is popular for walkers due to footpath access to uncrowded landscapes. The Eden Valley riverside walk is a must. A swimming pool, cinema, restaurant and pubs can be found in the town of Carlisle and can be reached by steam train which passes through scenic countryside and waterfalls. The railway runs right past the site. Carlisle Castle and Hadrian’s Wall are only a short drive away.
