Traditional Acupuncture
Acupuncture is used mainly for pain relief in the NHS, but traditional acupuncture is also used for skin conditions, lowering of high blood pressure, facial acupuncture and general well being. These cover a diverse range of skills and are suited to each individual's symptoms. The needles are very fine (like a hair) and a small sensation may be felt. Time and fees. Treatments are usually one and a half hours for the first session costing £55 and follow ups are 45 minutes costing £38. The British Acupuncture Council oversees the educational standards and codes of ethics of its members.
