Portrait Photography
I'm often commissioned to photograph people in the context of their work. Therefore, the environments are varied. Typically they're corporate, commercial, industrial, educational, medical or creative. In order to obtain the most relaxed and natural looking results, it's important to put people at ease. I understand how uncomfortable it can feel in front of a camera. Therefore, I never put anyone under any stress or pressure. I'm also commissioned to take more informal portraits; often of people who don't work in the corporate world. Carefully using only natural daylight can add a different dimension and engaging aesthetic. My approach is tailored for each shoot, depending on the brief and the end uses of the images.
