'Learn to make jewellery' is a full day workshop which teaches the traditional techniques for creating your own handmade jewellery using precious metals. Techniques you will learn include, cutting with a jeweller's saw, soldering, drilling, doming and forming with various tools, delft clay casting, etching, roller printing, polishing and finishing. When you sign up to the class we will discuss what you would like to make and your materials will be ready when you arrive at the class. The class starts with a little practice on copper, then when you feel confident we then move on to your precious metal. The class is taught by a jeweller with 20 years experience of working in the jewellery industry. The classes are held at Millburn Academy and run once a month on Saturdays and Sundays.
