Established since 1977, Anglian Soil Analysis offers over 30 different analyses to meet the needs of agricultural and horticultural communities in Lincolnshire and beyond. Soil testing provides an important management tool in developing an efficient soil fertility programme, as well as monitoring a field for potential soil and water management problems. Whilst a soil test provides basic information on the nutrient supplying capability of the soil, a test is only reliable if the soil sample is taken correctly and is properly handled after collection. Anglian Soil Analysis endeavours to make the whole process as easy and error-free as possible by providing guidelines for gathering samples and relevant field forms to accompany samples. Our qualified team provides a fast, efficient service based on ADAS and The BS methods following a code of good laboratory practice. Leaf tissue analysis offers the grower the opportunity to investigate any potential growing problems. The analysis enables growers to determine if there are any nutrient deficiencies which may affect the crop. We offer eleven analyses for merchants and growers to assess grain quality and market value. With the ever increasing accreditation and audit schemes, the requirement for water analysis has grown. We offer a full range of water analyses to accommodate all needs. All liquid feed and water samples must be accompanied by an appropriate field form to facilitate prompt and efficient processing. The minimum sample volume is 0.5 litre, however we prefer 1 litre to analyse. Compost analysis provides a measure of the quantity of nutrients available to the plant. Water soluble analysis offers growers and compost producers the chance to check levels of freshly made products. Total nutrient analysis gives the grower an indication as to what is still left in the prills to release nutrients into the plants.
