Oak on the Green sits on one of Bearsted's village greens, a short distance from Maidstone town centre, with records of the pub going back to a land agreement naming the Oake Inn. The kitchen serves classic and modern pub food all day, from burgers to trawler-fresh seafood, with a separate children's menu. It's a relaxed base for walking Bearsted's countryside and heritage sites, dog access aside, as this pub is not currently dog-friendly.
