Experts recommend that your duvet is washed every 6 months, duvets are a perfect breeding ground for dust mites and bedbugs...why delay! Some people find this an embarrassing question as many of us have not ever washed their duvet let alone every 6 months as recommended by experts!!! We all change our duvet covers, sheets and pillow cases frequently but without cleaning your duvet you are just masking the dirt and stains. More worryingly it's not only the stains we have to contend with, it's also the 1000s of dust mites we share our bed with every night. Your bed is the perfect breeding ground for these little horrors as they thrive in places where the humidity is high and where human dead skin flakes can be found. They are responsible for inciting allergy sufferers, 80% of Asthma & Eczema sufferers react to them.
