Our shop units are mostly based in market town locations where we gain a high level of support from local communities, both with regard to volunteer helpers and the donated goods that stock our shelves We often send items of potentially high value to local auction houses and have also set up our own facility to sell quality items on eBay All the goods received have to be checked for safety and quality before being offered for sale; and any textile items deemed to be 'unsaleable' are sold to a specialist merchant to maximise our income Retail Business Manager for Break comments "This is a fantastic way for Break to maximise income from the shops which goes directly towards our care
