R & I Jones Limited is a family run delivered wholesale confectionery and tobacco business established in Caernarfon in 1923.We deliver to all types of customers, such as newsagents, petrol forecourts, hospitals, schools, caravan parks, cafes, hotels, and pubs. A wide selection of products are available under the categories of confectionery, soft drinks, crisps and snacks, and tobacco products. We deal with all major suppiers like Coke, Cadburys,Walkers, Mars as well as smaller regional suppliers like RadnorHills, Calypso and Purity Juices.Regular deliveries are made from our Caernarfon depot to all parts of North West Wales. Apart from our wholesale division we also have two other divisions - Vending and Slush Puppie.In the Vending Department we own and operate various machines primarily for the pub trade. We have been operating Cigarette Machines since the 70's and still do albeit on a much smaller scale due to the current economic and political climate. Due to the decline in this side of vending we diversified into Beaver sweet machines. These are small compact 20p vendors, selling sweets such as Minstrels, Skittles and Jelly Beans. The success of these has led us to take on Tubzmachines. These are small tubs of sweets which sell for £1 in the machines. These have proved so successful that we now have over 100 in quite diverse sites, form pubs, caravan parks to indoor kids play centes.The Slush Puppie department has been going since 1977. This is when the brand 'Slush Puppie' first came to the UK. We were, and still are one of the original Area Distributors covering North Wales. We supply freezers free on loan to customers and supply them with stock. Over the years we have supplied freezers to the likes of Shell, Asda, Pontins and Bourne Leisure.
