Glasgow String Ensemble is one of Scotland's finest String Quartets. We perform at weddings and events throughout Glasgow, Paisley, Rutherglen, Coatbridge, Motherwell, Kirkintilloch, Bellshill, Cumbernauld, Dumbarton, Hamilton, Falkirk, Stirling and throughout Scotland. From the Beatles to Bach and Lady Gaga to Vivaldi, we have over 1000 pieces making it the largest string repertoire in Scotland with a huge variety of genres. Our reputation stretches from John O Groats to Glasgow and beyond, being highly commended for our enthralling and engaging performances of modern chart hits! With a passion and energy for our music, the Glasgow String Ensemble is made up of four highly skilled, classically trained professional musicians with a wealth of experience at both home and abroad. Our members have played in various musical settings in such prestigious venues as Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, City Halls, Old Fruitmarket, Edinburgh Playhouse and The Scottish Parliament.
