Business profile

I specialise in all aspects of photographing people; Baby and Maternity, Events, Portraits, and even Boudoir if you're feeling more adventurous. My passion is female portraiture, and making my client feel great about themselves. With the majority of pictures of women in the media being biased towards very slim, younger women and even then heavily manipulated in photoshop, and the majority of our personal pictures taken on phone cameras in poor lighting conditions, it it little wonder that I hear so many people saying that they hate pictures of themselves. Comparing phone pictures with these magazine ideals is never going to make us feel good about ourselves. As a portrait photographer my job is seeing the beauty in all my clients and letting it sparkle. My aim is to bring out the real you in the pictures. I want people not to say that's a lovely picture of you, but instead to say wow that is so totally you. With posing to flatter your individual body shape and knowledge of lighting to highlight your best features and detract from you less favourite areas, I aim to produce images that you'll not only love, but will make you feel amazing whenever you look at them. I aim to make my photo shoots a fun experience, forget those memories from your childhood of being taken to a dark photo studio by family and forced to sit in front of a cheesy backdrop while a miserable old photographer in a cardigan ordered you around and made your face hurt from trying to smile. When appropriate I like to get out into the beautiful snowdonia landscapes to shoot. When working in a more studio environment, whether in your own home or elsewhere, I like to make an event of the shoot. A glass of wine, your favourite music, we'll have a laugh, silly poses, sing along to the music, whatever, it all helps you to relax, and us to get some fantastic pictures.
