Asbestos Survey
An asbestos survey is required to ensure compliance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 by identifying and assessing any asbestos that may be present. This is an explicit duty on the employer (in occupation) and/or property owner to manage the risks from asbestos in their premises. You can read more about asbestos legislations here. An asbestos survey helps you to manage asbestos where possible. Asbestos should only be removed when found in poor condition or poses a threat - that is unless refurbishment or demolition is planned.
