Founded in 2006 Appropriate Solutions was created by Stuart Laverick out of a desire to work to the rapidly emerging sets of web development standards being put forward by the World Wide Web Consortium, as well as what are considered best practices in software development We therefore work with some of our clients through Partner Organisations, and this has allowed us to help a range of businesses that would otherwise not have found us Our clients come from a diverse range of business sectors and even from several different countries The business model we most want to avoid, and one which we have seen regularly in larger agencies, is one where clients are required to support a small number of developers and a large team of sales professionals Their success is the yardstick by which we measure our own efforts, and we have been lucky enough to work with an exciting and diverse range of companies and individuals who have all continued to grow and be successful in their area, and we would like to hope that our impact on their web presences has helped them to continue to achieve that success
