The area has a countryside feel yet it's convenient to the market towns of Huntingdon and St Ives with Cambridge being only 13 miles away. The fast train from Huntingdon will deliver you to London Kings Cross within 50 minutes. The twin villages of Wyton and Houghton lie a brief stroll away, as do the wonderful countryside and river walks of the Ouse valley. The villages boast 2 traditional pubs serving good food, a busy independently owned traditional shop, two tea rooms, an antique shop and an amazing art gallery which showcases the eclectic talent of local artists. The only operational water mill on the River Great Ouse is situated in Houghton and it is maintained by the National Trust.
