Ystradgynlais Band is one of the oldest Brass Bands in Wales having been making music since the Victorian era when Ystradgynlais was an important industrial town. We meet on Sundays and Wednesdays from 7:15 to 9:00. Our Training Band and learners meet from 6:00 to 7:00pm on Wednesdays. We're a friendly community group whose members' ages range from seven to eighty-three and our aim is to open up the world of music to the community of Ystradgynlais by providing free membership and free tuition to anyone who wishes to join.
