Headwalls are an essential component of most large scale drainage systems. Headwalls provide a safe controlled way to discharge water from a pipe into a watercourse helping avoid an errosion risk. Althon Precast Concrete Headwalls avoid the enironmental risk of pouring concrete close to a water course and significantly reduce installation time and cost. The headwalls are design and manufactured to stringent industry water standards including BS EN 15258 & BS EN 13369. Certain ranges of Althon Headwalls meet the Sewers for Adoption guidelines laid down by the major water companies. Althon headwalls can be factory fitted with a range of flow control and safety options including flap valves, penstocks, hand rails and baffle blocks.
