As well as fighting to retain surgery, the Children's Heart Surgery Fund Charity supports valuable equipment, resources and research for the treatment of children with heart defects, whilst providing a support service for both the children and their families along the way As well as working closely with Ministers to have the decision overturned, the Children's Heart Surgery Fund is taking legal advice to explore all options in the fight to keep surgery in the region We are currently fighting a decision by the NHS's Safe and Sustainable to end congenital heart surgery for our region's children at the Leeds General Infirmary
