1960's Nehru Collar Mini Dress Size Medium
Authentic vintage mini dress dating from the 1960's. It has a Nehru-style collar and buttons part-way at the front. Fastens with eleven lilac-coloured, domed buttons with two hook-and-eye fasteners at the top. Slightly cropped, inset sleeves. Fitted waist with soft gathers forming and A-line shape skirt. Enclosed hip pockets on each side seam. Lined (except sleeves). Finished with blue braid around the neckline, bib and waist.This dress is finished to an extremely high standard inside and out. The lining is trimmed with lace as shown in the photographs below. There is also a generous hem allowance of 3 inches (7½ cm).There is no maker's label other than the size label which reads '12'. The outer shell is made from medium-weight cotton and the lining is made from acetate.
