Hiding a Load Bearing Beam
The customer asked if we could remove a supporting wall between the dinning room and Kitchen, But ! hide the load bearing beam within the floor space. This was a four day task and a steel R.S.J. was used to support the wall above and the chamber joists for the above two bedrroms. The beam was inserted and a new flat plastered ceiling put in place,
