At Imaginative Interiors, we offer a wide range of outstanding faux finishes for both walls and furniture. These include; Faux marble Faux wood/ wood graining Faux stone Faux leather Faux Marble, Marbling or Marbelizing is perhaps the most decadent of all the faux finishes, and definitely one of the most popular. From Travertine to Carrara, highly realistic effects can be created that will genuinely beguile and delight. Popular faux marbling projects include fire surrounds, walls, table tops, pillars, niches, underneath dado rails and roll top baths. Faux wood or wood graining - As with marbling, it takes a skilled eye and high artistry to realistically reproduce natural looking wood. From oak to mahogany, we can produce a finish that is indistinguishable from the real thing. Someone once came up to me whilst I was photographing a faux oak bureau I'd just painted, and asked me if I'd built it! Popular wood graining projects include large furniture, wall and door panelling, fire doors and trompe l'oeil illusions. Faux stone and stone blocking are two more wonderful finishes that can be used to great effect in numerous settings. If painted subtly, in muted shades and regular sized blocks, a stylised faux wall can work beautifully as a delicate backdrop for a grand hall or landing. On the other hand, more realistic and uneven stone blocking can create the illusion of a rustic backdrop or ruinous surroundings. Treating each block separately to enhance the effect, Imaginative Interiors can expertly produce such finishes as sandstone, york stone, limestone and granite. Popular faux stone projects include stone blocked walls, granite table tops, crumbling brick walls, bannisters, columns, fire surrounds and all manner of trompe l'oeil illusions.
