Cine Transfer to DVD
Our cine film transfer service uses the latest CCD technology which offers you a broadcast quality transfer service. The first step that we take is to examine your films on a film rewind bench, this allows us to remake any existing splices that have come undone and remove any sections that you may not want, for example any totally black or clear sections. This means a transfer with no picture 'judder' or blank screen to interrupt your viewing. Films arriving with us that are backwards on the reel will be correctly wound ready for transfer and we will splice new film leaders onto the front of your films if required. Over time, static attracts dust. Projection can also cause dirt and scratches to appear on the film image as black spots and vertical black or coloured lines. Our liquid cleaning process eliminates most of the surface dust and will reduce the thickness of some black scratches by cleaning out the dirt within the scratch. The result is a clearer and cleaner picture during transfer all this is included in the price. We transfer standard 8, super 8, 9.5mm & 16mm cine film.
