Based in South Wales, Busy Pins and Needles is a family run fabric shop, sewing supplies, wool and knitting supplies, haberdashery. we have a physical & online shop. We specialise in handmade, handsewn, and printed bespoke and unique items for all occasions. We also stock a huge range of fabrics and wool, along with sewing supplies and knitting supplies. Between them, the family produce exquisite handmade products, printed items, and jewellery, using only the highest quality materials sourced from all over the world and we pride ourselves on the quality of our workmanship and materials used. Additionally, we stock a range of school uniform for local schools, specifically secondary schools.

Where are you based?
We are in the lovely town of Aberdare, at the top of the Welsh Valleys.
What do you sell?
We are a large haberdashery, fabric, wool, sewing supplies and accessories shop in the town.
Do you stock fabric by the metre?
Yes, we have lots of different fabrics in dozens of colours in stock, all cut to the length you require.
What is the minimum length of material you sell?
We sell down to 1/2 a metre of most materials.
Do you sell felt?
Yes, we have felt by the metre in several colours and large squares in dozens of colours.
Do you sell wool?
Yes, we have knitting and crochet wool in lots of colours and types, we also stock felting wool by the ball in loads of colours.
Do you sell gift boxes or kits for beginners?
Yes, we have loads of different kits from crochet kits through to felting kits, embroidery kits through cross stitch kits. We also have beginners sewing kits, so something for everyone who wants to get into crafting of any sort.
Do you sell curtains?
We don't stock ready made curtains, but we do stock curtain material and have over 500 hundred available to order, come in and see our sample books for the choices available.
What threads do you stock?
For sewing we stock Guterman threads, probably the best threads out there, we also stock Coats and other threads too. For embroidery, cross stich and other uses, we stock the full official UK range of DMC threads, all 571 colours of them.
