Successfully winning a case against a Tax Inspector
A few weeks ago I was asked to help a contact with a tax enquiry letter. After having detailed discussion with the contact and receiving all the relevant correspondance. I carried out a detailed research into the particulars of the case. After advising upside and down side of particular actions. We came to a decision on what would be best for my client. We then prepared and issued a letter explaining why the matter should be dropped WITH NO FURTHER THREAT OF PENALTIES. Within a week the contact received a confirmation saying the matter was dropped and no penalties would be issued based on the content of the letter.
