Built in the Victorian era and newly restored, Moor House offers luxury accommodation a short walk from the beautiful Portreath beach. With its own extensive park-like gardens, summer houses and stream, Moor House welcomes guests to its home-away-from-home atmosphere.There are three well-appointed guest bedrooms with private bath and shower rooms, and with all amenities supplied--luxury linens, guest bathrobes, TV/DVD, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers, clock radio.Breakfast is catered especially to each guest. A menu card asks guests to select what they want, how much they want, and when they want it. Ample parking is provided and guests may leave their cars at Moor House when spending the day at Portreath beach. Guests traveling by air to Newquay airport or by rail to Redruth, Truro or Camborne stations can arrange for collection for a small fee.Special long stay rates are available. Romantic weekend packages with all the lovely little touches are available. Picnic lunches can be requested for a small fee.We cannot accept credit cards at the present time but do accept cash, personal checks and travelers checks. A one-night, nonrefundable deposit is asked to reserve rooms.We regret that we cannot accommodate children under 12 years of age. We also are not able to accommodate animals with the exception of guide dogs.
