AHD CCTV Cameras
This page contains the 1080p HD security cameras (AHD CCTV type) that CCTV Camera Pros sells. AHD stands for analog high definition. These cameras are named that way because they can use the same RG59 coax cable that traditional analog CCTV cameras use, however the resolution is full 1080p (1920 x 1080) instead of 704 x 480 (analog D1 CCTV resolution). This makes them a great choice for customers that want to upgrade their existing CCTV system from standard to high definition, especially when using an iDVR-PRO hyrid DVR that works with SD and HD CCTV cameras. Because our iDVR-PRO DVRs can also record full 1080p resolution in real time on all channels, they are also a great choice for use with all HD cameras. If you are unfamiliar with the difference between AHD and traditional analog CCTV camera resolution, you can learn more about AHD vs CCTV here. We also have a 1080p vs CCTV resolution video here and demo surveillance videos using the cameras on this page here. If your are using an AHD DVR that only supports 720p resolution, also have 720p AHD cameras here.
