The hot wax is applied with a spatula coating the area in a thick layer of wax. As the wax begins to cools it becomes firm and fixes around the hair gripping them tightly. Once the wax has dried to form an opaque colour but still tacky it is then quickly pulled off the skin removing all the hairs in that area. The advantages of hot wax are: Works well on coarse hairDoesn't leave a sticky residue like warm waxIdeal for removing shorter hairsMore suitable for sensitive skin.
