The Mid Wales Bunkhouse, Tipi and Camping is located at Woodhouse Farm, midway between Rhayader and Llanidloes, close to the villages of St. Harmon and Pant Y Dwr. As our name suggests we are right in the very centre of Wales. The surrounding countryside is splendidly wild. Be it summer or winter it can be explored by bike, on foot, or even on horseback or by canoe, with each season offering its own challenges. In winter weather such as we have had for the last couple of years even cross country skiing is a possibility. We are close to the Elan and Wye Valleys, the Trans Cambrian Trail and Glyndwrs Way. The Lon Las Cymru cycle route is also close by, and on our website you will find a suggested, and we believe more interesting alternative route, taking you right past the door. The Radnorshire Ring, regional cycle route 25, also passes closeby, and this can easily form part of a circuit across Wales from East to West.
