This was changed in 1984 to `The Autistic Society for the Manchester Area', and then in 1997 to ASGMA We provide support for parents & carers through our Autism Information and Family Support Project and direct support for people with autistic spectrum conditions, including Asperger Syndrome/Higher Functioning Autism through our Aspirations Project and Autism Lifeskills Project, both of which can be seen under Direct Services
