Welcome To Pentland Blacksmiths We are a small business with over 20 years industry experience in steelwork, gates & railings, steel straircases, structural steel and steel erecting. Our small but well equiped is workshop based in Loanhead, Midlothian on the outskirts of Edinburgh. We offer many services such as:- Gates, Railings, Balustrade & Balconies Structural Steel Fabrication (inc. Stainless) Engineering Automated gate systems All welding work undertaken Restoration, Repair of Wrought & Cast Iron Our Gates and Railings, Staircase, balconies, balustrade and Wrought iron work are comissioned and built to your requirements and current local regulations. After the initial contact, we will make a consultation visit to you to discuss your requirements and make a draft drawing. We will input this into our design software and then give you design options to choose from base on the brief. We can also supply and install electric remote control systems complete with video and intercom systems. We make sure, where needed that gates, railings, fencing, balustrade, staircases, balconies & safety barriers are manufacured and fitted in accordance with British Standards (now BSEN) and with local government specifications and requirements. We cover all areas within Edinburgh & Lothians, Glasgow, Scottish Borders, Fife and Central Scotland At Pentland Blacksmisth, we offer an extensive range of crafts. From custom made wrought iron gates and railings to general/structural fabrication & repair work, Non Destructive Testing, engineering, repair, restoration & painting.
