Due to many factors,major manufacturers have announced price rises to be implimented on the first of May 2008. What is uncertain, is if the prices will be able to remain stable for the rest of this finiancial year. Our feeling is that at least one more rise will occour somewhere around summertime, this dramatic rise in wire steelproducts has been associated with currency fluctuations, fuel prices and ore all going up.Most of our manufactuerors have indecated a rise of around 5% on spare parts tools, and around 15 - 20% on the fasteners themselves, although we have heard that one company ( That we don't have an account with) have raised thier prices by onwards of 30% on some lines!
