Nature's Secret Larder is home to my passion for food straight from the hedgerows.Wild food is there for the taking, and can rival any fridge or larder. Not only is it nourishing, nature's harvest can provide medical assistance too. Nature usually has the answer to our needs (even if it's a refreshing walk at the end of a hard day), but usually that answer is kept secret by nature itself. With keen observation, you will notice that everyday plants you simply walked by, have easily identifiable characteristics. In turn, you will be rewarded with the pleasure of recognition, and usually a tasty, healthy meal or accompaniment.I have studied 'bushcraft', a collective name of many natural crafts, for most of my life. At the basis of what I love, though, wild food, foraging, and the hidden uses of plants and trees are my passion, which is why I get so much satisfaction from passing on my knowledge. In these pages, I hope to give you a flavour of nature's tasty offering.
